We work with our clients to make sure they understand the process of buying or selling a property. We explain every step along the way, and we are available to answer any questions.
Part of the process called a Title Search is often unknown or misunderstood by most first-time homebuyers. Before any transaction can be completed, we have to ensure that there are no liens or claims against the property in question. "Clearing title" ensures that there are no creditors who have a lien on the property. A title search also ensures the ownership of the property is free and clear, meaning no one can claim ownership after the transaction is complete.
It is not uncommon for a title search to reveal issues. We work to resolve any problems as minor as a traffic ticket to multiple liens from different creditors or other intricate title issues that would otherwise delay the closing.
At Taub & Bogaty PLLC, we offer our clients top-shelf personal service. You will be working with and communicating with your attorney and not delegated to someone you never met. In addition, since we have the luxury of never being tied up in court, you can speak with the attorney handling your matter personally at all times.
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, we can meet with you over video conference if you are not prepared to meet in person. We are experienced with remote e-signing of documents. You will not have to be physically at the closing table if you are uncomfortable with a face-to-face meeting.
We are prepared to meet with you virtually or in person at your convenience. We will meet with you are your convenience at night, on the weekend, at your place of business, or at your current residence.
